almost impossible to believe, incredible. Words that describe our new Fine Arts
Building. The FAB has 52,000 square feet. The auditorium seats 853. The
FAB cost $11.1 million and it will be paid for as soon as we receive the last
bill. The band facility alone is over $2.3 million. The majority of the money
went for sound, lighting, and seating. We tried to get the best quality there
was available.
The facility will be paid off when we receive the final check in the next month
or so. SPLOST dollars have been the reason for all of this. The Board of
Education has a vision for the students in Rabun and SPLOST has enabled us to
accomplish the facility section of that vision.
